Kubernetes pods go through several phases during their lifecycle: Pending, Running, Succeeded, Failed, and Unknown.
Container States
Each container within a pod has its own state: Waiting, Running, or Terminated. Probes (liveness, readiness, startup) determine when a container is healthy.
